This is my story.

I started this little business almost 10 years ago as a young fresh college student just trying to make some extra cash to drive home to visit my family. I’ve grown and molded this business truly from the ground up. It has been a huge labor of love for me. The more I worked with people, the more I’ve learned how truly special my craft is. I have clients that I’ve done senior portraits for get married and start their families. I have clients that tried for years and years to start a family, finally have their miracle baby. I’ve been honored to walk along side people losing loved ones with cancer and connect with them because I know their story all too well.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Kyle and we have two sons, Zach and Emery. (We also have the cutest dog, Duke!) Becoming a mama is my life’s greatest joy and it has molded me in ways I never imagined. Like my mother in law says, “it’s like a love you never knew before.”

A few months after our first son, Zach, was born I looked back on our time in the hospital and I was sad that we didn’t have Fresh 48 photos taken (my own fault because our sweet photographer offered). Those first few days are so new, raw, and precious. To be honest, I never really thought much of them until the time had already passed. This sparked a passion in me to photograph Fresh 48’s and Newborn lifestyle sessions. They grow much too fast and the moments I miss the very most are the ones aren’t the most “picture worthy” but they are real life. I look forward to the day my children will hold these photos and cherish them just like I cherish my childhood photos with my parents.

I’m so incredibly fortunate to be able to stay home with my children. I absolutely love my job and my clients. This business is truly an extension of my calling to work with people and tell their stories. I can’t wait to get to know you and tell yours! What is one thing you never want to forget?

Things I love:

chocolate, mocha lattes, ethnic foods, quality time with my family, watercoloring, historical landmarks, linen, hygee, swaddled babies, traveling, community building, my church family, George Ezra, goats milk soaps and lotions, snail mail, quality time, board games, Mexico, vintage shopping, and of course cuddles with my sweet dog Duke.
